Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for product roadmaps and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-oriented solutions and validate emerging technologies
- Create executive-ready scenario planning models for geopolitical, technological, and socioeconomic shifts
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry innovators
- Translate complex future insights into actionable strategic recommendations for leadership
- Drive innovation culture through workshops, thought leadership, and future-state envisioning sessions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, sustainable systems)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience developing long-term strategic roadmaps for 5-10 year horizons
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, books, white papers)
