Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Partner with R&D to translate future trends into tangible innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in quantum, AI, and biotech
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with ESG and sustainable development goals
- Establish thought leadership through white papers and industry conference keynotes
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published research in peer-reviewed foresight journals or reputable tech publications
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi, PESTLE analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating multi-year strategic impact
