- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to anticipate societal, economic, and technological shifts
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate strategic foresight into corporate planning and resource allocation
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications, conferences, and patent development
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario modeling and trend analysis
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities for executive audiences
- Portfolio of published thought leadership or patents in strategic innovation
