Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026-2030 market horizons
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic systems)
- Architect proof-of-concept prototypes for next-gen commercial applications
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants and strategic partnerships
- Author thought leadership published in IEEE and Nature journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- Published research in top-tier scientific journals
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or equivalent funding
- Deep understanding of ethical AI deployment frameworks
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
