Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmap integrating quantum AI, bio-digital interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, neuroscientists, and AI researchers
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through DARPA and NSF grant initiatives
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-AI symbiosis and autonomous systems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and future-focused institutions
- Monitor geopolitical tech policy shifts and adapt strategy accordingly
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/bio)
- Demonstrated success securing federal research grants ($5M+)
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation protocols
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience scaling technical teams from 5 to 50+ researchers
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor, quantum, and biotech convergence points
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) preferred
