Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects, identifying bias, privacy, and fairness implications
- Lead cross-functional working groups to integrate ethical considerations into product development lifecycles
- Establish transparent audit mechanisms for AI systems using explainable AI techniques
- Represent Nexus Innovations in industry coalitions shaping global AI ethics standards
- Design and deliver ethics training programs for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor emerging ethical challenges in AI and proactively develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI governance, or technology ethics
- Deep expertise in AI bias mitigation, fairness metrics, and explainable AI methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical requirements
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders from engineers to executives
- Publication record in AI ethics or related domains (strongly preferred)
- Experience with ethical frameworks like ISO 39001 or IEEE 7000
