We are seeking a visionary Director of Technology Strategy to architect the future of Apex Innovation Labs. As we approach our pivotal 2026 transition, we need a leader who can bridge the gap between emerging technologies and business goals. You will define the technical roadmap that will drive our market leadership for the next decade.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying disruptive technologies, overseeing infrastructure modernization, and ensuring our technical stack is scalable, secure, and future-proof. Join us in shaping the digital landscape of 2026.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with the C-suite to create a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns technical capabilities with business objectives for the 2026 fiscal year.
- Emerging Tech Evaluation: Research, prototype, and validate emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Quantum Computing, and Edge Computing to determine feasibility and integration points.
- Architecture & Infrastructure: Lead the design and implementation of a scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure capable of supporting global expansion and high-volume data processing.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build and mentor a high-performance engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations regarding project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Security & Compliance: Oversee the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Innovation: Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and identifying market-leading technology trends.
- Leadership: Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
