Responsibilities
- Provide top-tier technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN), ensuring optimal connectivity and security.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls on various operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Perform regular hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the network administration team to implement new technologies and upgrade existing systems.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
