Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business goals
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate futuristic technologies into existing product portfolios
- Present strategic technology insights to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for innovation scouting
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and translating them to business value
- Expertise in emerging technologies with focus on 2026+ horizons (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology innovation (e.g., CFTE, CTO Academy)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and board members
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
