Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum, AI, AR/VR)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into current development cycles
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Anticipate ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or product innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
