Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market landscape analysis for emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven insights
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to stay at innovation's forefront
- Mentor junior team members in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends and translating them into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to C-suite audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience managing innovation pipelines and R&D budgets
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology assessment preferred
