Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging fields including quantum computing and neurotech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with commercial potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into customer solutions
- Present strategic technology insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Build and manage external innovation ecosystems with academic institutions and startups
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex concepts
- PhD or Master's degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics)
- Experience building innovation pipelines from research to market
- Strong network within tech research communities and venture capital
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
