Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Oversee R&D pipeline prioritization and resource allocation for future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, biotech, sustainable tech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning (preferred)
