Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, decentralized networks)
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating AI ethics, sustainability, and human-centric design principles
- Analyze patent landscapes and competitor tech strategies to identify first-mover advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with clear ROI projections
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing technology architectures
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management abilities
