Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts and competitive analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3) and assess commercial viability
- Build financial models for R&D portfolio allocation with ROI projections for emerging tech ventures
- Author strategic briefs for executive board on paradigm-shifting technologies and market entry strategies
- Manage relationships with academic research labs and venture partners to scout breakthrough innovations
- Design governance frameworks for ethical implementation of frontier technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 or VC-backed startups
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting frameworks, and disruption analysis
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex tech into business strategy
- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two successfully launched tech ventures from ideation to market
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscape and regulatory implications
