Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, autonomous systems, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present strategic blueprints to investors and executive stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological innovation ROI and adoption
- Mentor a cohort of futurist researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching at least two disruptive tech products/services
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (e.g., IEEE, Nature)
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight
