Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology planning for 2026-2030 horizons, aligning with business objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech) for commercial viability
- Develop patent strategies and IP protection frameworks for innovative solutions
- Present technology roadmaps to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and technology incubators
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes affecting future adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in launching at least two emerging tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in AI/ML frameworks and quantum computing principles
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting
- Exceptional communication abilities for complex technical storytelling
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (AWS re:Invent, CES, etc.)
