Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance frameworks
- Lead scenario planning for climate-resilient infrastructure and decentralized web3 ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Design ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation protocols for next-gen autonomous systems
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-relevant solutions including carbon-negative data centers and neurointerfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-backed impact projections
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and exponential technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (patents or product launches a plus)
- Deep expertise in climate tech and sustainable digital infrastructure development
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., Foresight Graduate Certificate) or equivalent experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills with C-suite and international regulatory bodies
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies with thesis on 2030+ tech impacts
- Published thought leadership in journals like Nature Futures or IEEE Technology & Society
