Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future opportunities and mitigate risks
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough initiatives with commercial viability
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, MIT Media Lab, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
