Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating futuristic concepts into tangible product roadmaps
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $10M for experimental initiatives
- Present future-vision briefings to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and mentor an elite innovation lab team of futurists and technologists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Future Studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy
