Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify exponential technology opportunities (AI, quantum computing, bio-convergence)
- Produce annual Future State Reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation solutions targeting 2026 market readiness
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts to anticipate disruption vectors
- Design organizational frameworks for agile adaptation to future uncertainties
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies with published thought leadership
- Proven experience translating future scenarios into executable business plans
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., SFI, WFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
