Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological and societal trends to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech labs for 2026+ R&D initiatives
- Present trend forecasts and innovation opportunities to C-suite executives and investors
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies for early identification of disruptive technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation analysts in trend analysis techniques
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing corporate strategy and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and investment committees
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) strongly preferred
