Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technology inflection points
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Collaborate with global R&D labs to prototype next-generation solutions in AI ethics, quantum applications, and neurointerfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with quantified impact projections
- Manage the Innovation Pipeline, evaluating 500+ emerging technologies annually
- Author the annual '2026 Vision Report' distributed to Fortune 500 partners
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing moonshot projects with $10M+ budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 7+ years in strategic innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning, technology roadmapping, and disruption modeling
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation or foresight journals
- Experience leading global innovation initiatives with $50M+ budgets
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three successfully commercialized futuristic innovations
