Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap aligning with quantum computing and AI advancements
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for climate tech and biometric interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, Web4.0)
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present innovation frameworks to the board and secure $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists and engineers in agile innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- MS/MBA in Technology Innovation or equivalent with 7+ years in strategic R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling tech ventures from concept to market (3+ successful exits)
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning) and patent strategy
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI governance frameworks, and SDG tech
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($2M+ awarded)
- Published thought leadership in Nature/IEEE or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and systems architecture modeling
