Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
- Document detailed bug reports and track them through to resolution using JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and verify solutions.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality.
- Analyze system logs and error messages to diagnose technical issues effectively.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and testing methodologies to improve quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a strong internship background.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, including Black Box and White Box testing.
- Proficiency in using test management tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Basic understanding of SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team setting.
