Responsibilities
- Patrol buildings, grounds, and facilities to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of the property.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or medical emergencies.
- Respond to emergencies, including fire, medical, or security alarms.
- Operate CCTV equipment and access control systems to monitor activities in specific areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants on-site.
- Enforce company policies and procedures effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Clean criminal background record and drug screening required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic computer literacy for report entry and logging.
