Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to critical system alerts and resolve incidents immediately to minimize downtime.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and actions taken in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to prioritize and escalate complex technical problems.
- Perform routine system updates, security patches, and backups.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Availability to work full-time night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems effectively.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
