Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 100+ qubits
- Collaborate with physicists and engineers to optimize quantum hardware-software integration
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, AI, and molecular simulation
- Lead quantum system security protocols against emerging cyber threats
- Document architectural blueprints and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proven experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and optimization
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
