Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to bridge theory and physical implementations
- Lead quantum system integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Define quantum software development frameworks and standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in machine learning and classical HPC systems
