Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum error correction research achieving <10⁻⁹ logical qubit fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI
- Architect scalable quantum communication protocols with post-quantum encryption
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Commercialize research through patent development and product incubation
- Mentor PhD fellows and publish quarterly in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published work in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Proficiency in quantum circuit optimization and tomography
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to secure >$1M in research funding
