Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Future Impact Reports with data-driven forecasts and scenario planning frameworks
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Establish innovation KPIs and track emerging metrics for future-readiness assessment
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and emerging technology assessment (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and technological megatrends
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
