Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum-AI convergence
- Deliver executive briefings on disruptive technologies and their market implications
- Author white papers and thought leadership content positioning Nexus Horizons as an industry authority
- Manage partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other innovation ecosystems
- Design scenario planning models for geopolitical and technological uncertainty
- Mentor junior futurists in research methodologies and strategic communication
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar top-tier publications
- Advanced proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, scenario modeling)
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and strategic pivots
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from foresight-to-execution initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
