Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and ethicists to prototype next-gen interfaces and systems
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-centered AI interaction and sustainable technology adoption
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and board members using data-driven storytelling and immersive VR simulations
- Establish FutureHorizons' thought leadership through white papers, TEDx talks, and industry conference keynotes
- Manage $5M annual innovation budget with ROI-focused prototyping and pilot programs
- Mentor junior futurists and build academic partnerships with top-tier universities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Published author on technological disruption or future trends (peer-reviewed journals or industry press)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis) and scenario planning tools
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, bio-interfaces, AGI)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable technology development
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience with VR/AR prototyping tools and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
