Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on emerging technology adoption strategies
- Produce foresight reports and strategic briefings for executive leadership and board members
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies (quantum, AI, bio-convergence) for commercialization potential
- Architect future-proof business models and organizational structures for 2026+ readiness
- Manage relationships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in advanced foresight methodologies
- Represent company at global futures conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals/conferences
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and foresight tools
