Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive teams on future-ready strategic priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations translating complex data into actionable insights
- Build and maintain a global network of innovation scouts and domain experts
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing thought leadership through industry publications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite audiences
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and academic research institutions
- Prior experience publishing in peer-reviewed foresight journals or top-tier business publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
