Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum computing and biotech
- Produce strategic white papers and executive briefings on disruptive market shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight findings into product roadmaps
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary 'Horizon Scanning' methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Strong proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks in regulated industries
