Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly 'Future State Briefings' for executive leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum computing, climate tech, and neuro interfaces
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused research institutions
- Mentor a team of junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through industry keynotes and white papers
- Integrate ethical foresight frameworks into all strategic recommendations to ensure responsible innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating emerging technologies into market-ready business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification program)
- Published author in futures or innovation journals with strong industry network
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategic implementations
