Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026+ horizons
- Develop comprehensive future scenario models and innovation roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product development lifecycles
- Build and maintain a global network of industry experts, academics, and thought leaders
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable business strategies and investment recommendations
- Present strategic findings to executive leadership with compelling visualizations and narratives
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership through white papers and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to synthesize complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston, Finland Futures Research Centre)
