Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Horizon Scan, identifying disruptive innovations across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech
- Create strategic roadmaps for market entry into emerging sectors with 10+ year growth projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development priorities
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring organizational future-readiness and adaptation velocity
- Author quarterly trend briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build scenario-planning models for geopolitical and technological black swan events
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into market-winning strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi technique, weak signal detection)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
