What You'll Achieve:
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying paradigm-shifting technologies and societal shifts
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing into organizational DNA
- Pioneer proprietary foresight frameworks for emerging tech adoption
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Produce trend analysis whitepapers and scenario-planning models for 2026 market landscapes
- Design innovation incubation programs for breakthrough technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Present strategic briefings to investors, partners, and industry coalitions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business units
- Develop patentable methodologies for future trend quantification
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning work
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and adoption curves
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within tech-forward organizations
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into narratives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Strategy preferred
