Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist will provide essential technical assistance to employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. You will act as the first point of contact for hardware and software issues, maintaining high standards of customer service and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff.
- Helpdesk Support: Manage incoming support tickets via our ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Hardware & Software Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- User Training: Conduct onboarding sessions and provide end-user training on new software tools and security protocols.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of office infrastructure, including updates, patches, and inventory management.
- Security Compliance: Enforce company IT policies and assist in data protection measures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if required.
