Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 Technical Support: Assist end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop with hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage Support Tickets: Log, track, and resolve incoming support requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems related to local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and internet connectivity.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day-shift team and other departments to ensure continuity of support.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or customer service.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work 3rd shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, MS Office suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently under pressure.
