Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 technology foresight framework through systematic trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum, AI, and biotech
- Produce strategic white papers and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future intelligence capabilities
- Present findings at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in future technology domains
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and foresight software platforms
