Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues efficiently.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, and switches using industry-standard protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary patches to protect company assets.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites if required.
