Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to employees via phone and ticketing systems during night hours.
- Monitor server health and network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, including laptop repairs, printer maintenance, and peripheral setup.
- Manage software installations, updates, and security patches for the night shift team.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the day shift engineering team and provide clear documentation.
- Conduct regular security audits and backup verification procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Technical Support roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred.
