Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and network infrastructure during night hours to ensure minimal downtime.
- Respond to and resolve incoming technical support tickets with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Perform routine software updates, security patches, and system backups to maintain data integrity.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the CRM system.
- Communicate effectively with day-shift teams to hand over unresolved issues and critical alerts.
- Collaborate with the IT department to identify and implement process improvements for night operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support, IT operations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions without direct supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
