Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using cryogenic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into enterprise workflows
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Ability to work with complex cryogenic and microwave instrumentation
- Clearance for government-sponsored research projects (if applicable)
