Role Overview:
You will drive our recruiting strategy, identifying and securing the best engineering, data, and software talent in the Chicago market. Your ability to build relationships and negotiate offers will directly impact our clients' success.
Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruiting for technical positions including Software Engineering, DevOps, and Data Science.
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter) to build a high-quality talent pipeline.
- Screen, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers with a focus on technical and cultural fit.
- Negotiate offers and manage the closing process to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal team members to define job requirements and market positioning.
- Track all recruiting metrics and pipeline activities in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Develop a deep understanding of the Chicago tech ecosystem and competitor landscape.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Recruiting or Staffing (IT/Engineering focus).
- Proven track record of closing placements and meeting aggressive revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Chicago job market and technical skill sets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with major ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or similar).
- Passion for recruiting and helping candidates advance their careers.
