Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026+ initiatives, aligning with business objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Develop future-proof architecture frameworks to ensure scalability and adaptability
- Present technology vision and innovation proposals to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future tech integration and adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Track record of launching innovative products or services with market traction
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS) or equivalent
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or venture capital
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
