Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Monitor network systems and server performance during off-peak hours.
- Respond to help desk tickets and user inquiries via email and remote access tools.
- Perform regular system backups and security patching to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve complex technical escalations.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
- Ensure strict adherence to data privacy and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and remote support tools.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
